In a new promotional video for the upcoming 2024 CMA Awards on November 20 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Area, veteran hosts Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning get comfortable with first-time host Lainey Wilson. “This is our first day together, so we’re starting to kind of feel the energy that we’re going to be able to bring to the stage the night of the CMA Awards,” Bryan says. Manning jokes that Wilson – who was the big winner at last year’s CMAs – “spent as much time on stage” as he and Bryan did, which makes her new hosting duties “fitting.” Wilson says that the CMAs serve as a “country music family reunion,” where you see so many friendly familiar faces in one place for the evening. “A lot of these people that are nominated and winning, they’re people who have helped me along the way. It’s just a big time to celebrate each other,” Wilson says. The 58th Annual CMA Awards will air on ABC on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. ET. (People
